Tuna and Pimiento Lasagne; Suffering from Backhoe envy — 12 Comments

  1. Hey, thanks, Katie! I needed that to cheer me on a wet day when I have a head cold and laryngitis! Keep up the good work on your blog – you always make me smile!

  2. Love the addition of goat cheese in this!
If hubby is lamenting minus 8, we woke up to minus 20! Feel better? No? Ok, get him a bigger toy.

  3. Unfortunately Katie, Biting my tongue is also not MY strong suit. I am afraid we are too much alike in that area. And like you, at this season, 45F with the sun shining would call for the Coppertone!!! Yesterday I sat on the toilet (with the seat down and my pants UP!!!) just to soak in the sun that was shining right through the SW exposure window! Spring…can you hear me calling your name?

  4. Katie, those are some of my favorites, too – bloggers who still visited my blog even when I would go weeks at a time without a post. Good people!
This recipe inspires me..chevre is good in so many ways…

  5. The lasagna looks good, but I don’t think I’d be allowed to make it. My husband still has not gotten over the Tuna Noodle Surprise I made in the first year of our marriage. He banned tuna from everything but sandwiches. I won’t bother to share the recipe.

  6. Zoomie, always happy to oblige.
Natashya, nothing it making him feel better lately… could be the stress!
Cindy, 50F is time for the first outdoor spring party! One has to appreciate the little things. I hope he appreciated me keeping my mouth shut!
Mimi, you are so right…. and you were on my list… I’ll fix it ;-))
Lynn, uh-oh, Tuna Surprise? Mon mari has actually banned tuna also, but I sneak it in once in awhile – usually with the addition of goat cheese which he loves.

  7. Katie, thanks for the award – I blush! I’ve been terrible when it comes to accepting awards and have been promising myself a post dedicated to that….one of these days.
Goes without saying, I love your funny stories and even better, your tasty treats. Thanks for sharing this one – I never thought to do a tuna lasagna – with Presto Pasta Nights.
Remember next week we turn 100…what are you making?

  8. O, many thanks Katie but it’s easy since you make so many smiles.
It really is a lot of stress and you know I’m sending you all the positive vibes I can devise.
Tuna in Lasagne . . . what a great idea!

  9. it’s always fun to visit your blog, kate 🙂
a hearty recipe with little effort for the cold weather? sounds good to me 🙂

  10. I’ve GOT to stop coming in here when it isn’t even remotely close to dinner time. The lasagne sounds fabulous.
I have been remiss in not replying earlier! Thank you, Katie!
