Bread Baking Babes Braid a Russian Rose

Everything is coming up roses for the Babes this month!

Baking bread should be easy and relaxing.

One shouldn't worry about niggling little details like getting the ingredients in the right order – according to Tanna, of My Kitchen in Half Cups.

For Tanna's very practical approach to baking, as well as the recipes and details about this gorgeous, filled and braided Russian Rose, visit My Kitchen in Half Cups.  She gives such wonderful instructions anyone can do it!

You can also find all the details about how to join the fun and become a Bread Baking Buddy.

All of these lovely loaves were baked for World Bread Day

  1. Ah, Katie I love that you make us look so good!
What strikes me here this time around is that while the breads look more like each other than usual perhaps – I say that’s because the shaping technique is really straight forward – absolutely none of these breads are alike. Oooo, dare I say it: these loaves are like people, they are all alike and all so very different.

  2. Thank you Katie for the round-up again! Tanna is right, these are alike and different at the same time. (I do realise now that I never posted a pic of the finished bread, will correct that)

  3. Tanna, and they are all beautiful.
Baking Soda, but it’s a good thing that it gets eaten so fast there’s no time for pics. LOL
