When we moved to Ireland one of the ads we saw on the TV was for Hovis bread. If one believed the ads, it was the best things since, well, sliced bread.
I haven’t heard the name ‘Hovis’ since we left….. Until today.
And, thanks to Amazon, apparently one can duplicate Hovis bread in the US.
Or not.
One could also try sprouting your own wheat berries, going o a brewery in search of malt, and any number of other endeavors….
Tanna wanted to encourage the Babes to be creative.
And to play in the sandbox.

It is good bread, Gorn keeps asking for more, usually means we make it again. It was Heather who told me about Hovis on Amazon and yes it is a hoot. Expensive too but worth it for an experiment especially to find you can put available ingredients together to recreate.
Good SandBox play.
Great sandbox playing! And this bread IS the best thing since, umm, well… you know.
Wonderful sandbox play and a delicious bread, too.
Tanna, I have to say, of all the recent breads, this one has tempted me the most. We’re having friends stay for a week in June…. I may do some baking.
Elizabeth, those old Hovis commercials are all replaying in my mid LOL
Elle, yeah, beautiful…. and really tempting.
