Bread Baking Babes bake Bagels – Asiago Bagels, to be exact
I love alliteration
As long as it’s real.
Even as a child I wanted to rip the sign down that advertised the ‘Koffee Kup Kafe’. What, ‘C’s weren’t good enough or clever enough?
I can barely type it even now…..
I digress.
On to the bagels…. Asiago Bagels to be specific.
I love bagels. There used to be a bagel bar at the supermarket I shopped at in the US. I stocked up whenever I was there and the Asiago were always one of my favorites.
Apparently the same is true of Karen’s co-workers.
Karen, of Karen’s Kitchen Stories, our host kitchen for the month, missed out on the Asiago Bagels at work one day as they were snatched up first. Being a true Babe she decided to just bake her own.
They were a hit.
And they’re a big hit with the rest of the Babes,
Check them out – and stop by out Karen’t Kitchen Stories for more info and the recipe. Plus get the details for being a Bread Baking Buddy this month.

I also adore as abundant alliteration as possible – I was going to type “achievable” instead of “possible”, but decided that would be going too far.
And asiago! J’adore asiago aussi. Rats. Too bad I didn’t think of somehow inserting “asiago” in the first ridiculous list….
Many thanks for this showcase of BBBBagels. It’s always so lovely to see them all stacked up together.
Alliteration can not be taken too far. My alliteration archive always accepts abundant asiago….
