Ksra, Moroccan flatbread

I just booked tickets to Tangier this week so how appropriate to have the Babes baking a Moroccan flatbread!

I will do my best to taste all breads while I’m there….  promise.

In the meantime, there is Ksra.

Kelly, of A Messy Kitchen,  and our host kitchen for the month, decided that, since her daughter loves Moroccan tagines, she would make the appropriate flatbread to match.

It’s an easy dough – no kneading needed and it’s supposed to rest in the fridge for a bit…. somewhere between 1 and 10 days.

You can use barley flour or wheat or rye or semolina.

You can bake it or grill it or cook it in a waffle iron.

Really, no excuse not to try this one.

If you are looking for an easy bread to make visit A Messy Kitchen to get the recipe and the details for being a Bread Baking Buddy this month.

Here are the Babes’ flatbreads….

Kelly’s Ksra

Tanna’s Ksra

Elizabeth’s Ksra

Karen’s Ksra

Judy’s Ksra

Cathy’s Ksra

Elle’s Ksra

And that’s it for the Babes in March – We’re busy….

And the Babes are:

  1. I’m so envious of your ease at being able to go to Tangier! Please report back about all the different breads! Will you be having lablabi (chickpea soup)? I hope so. I hope so!
