Red Ribbon Bread!
Okay, that’s not the actual name of the bread. But it won a red ribbon (second place) in the County Fair for sourdough breads.
The actual name of the bread is:
Rosemary Raisin Sourdough Bread
Judy, of Judy’s Gross Eats, our host kitchen for the month, was the red ribbon winner.
This is a recipe she developed while in culinary school and she assures us that it ‘always performs’.
She goes on to say that one can use any type of flour or fruit or herb or sweetener…..
As usual, the Bread Baking Babes took her words to heart.
Read on to see what they did.
If you are looking for an easy, sourdough bread that is also a red ribbon winner, visit Judy’s Gross Eats to get the recipe and the details for being a Bread Baking Buddy this month.
Here are the Rosemary (or not) Raisin (or blueberries or ?) Sourdough Breads.
And that’s it for the Babes in the June…. We’re busy
