3 Easy Grill Recipes That Will Make Your Mouth Water

We’ve been having summer in bits for the last few weeks. Beautiful sunny mornings followed by cold rainy afternoons followed by warm evenings.

Or the opposite.

But the grills (all 4 of them) are out and begging to be used. Mon mari is determined…. Although sometimes he ends up cooking inside the barn because the weather turns nasty.

Still, it is almost full summer and we are thinking positive, so when I was offered to post 3 grilling recipes that are so different to what I normally do I thought: Why not?

Who doesn’t like to savor some grilled food with a glass of wine? Sounds perfect, right? But after a busy and tiring day, you want the grilling to be easy. A little bit of preparation and making sure you have the right ingredients on hand can make summer cooking a breeze. 

So, to make your grilling experience a bit more fun. below are some recipes you can enjoy with your family or friends. Outdoor cooking keeps your house cool and the entertaining casual…. These simple recipes make it a relaxing meal for the cook, too.

Sour Grilled Corn

The Sour Grilled Corn is one of the easiest grill recipes that you can look forward to. Corn is always a healthy option for everyone. If you are vegan or your friends, then this is an ideal recipe. The mouthwatering grilled corn will remain on your tastebuds for a long time.

Serves: 3-4


  • 6 – 8 ears of corn (it will depend on the number of people, and husk it prior)
  • 2 Cups of Sour Cream
  • 1 Cup of Butter
  • 2 Cups of Parmesan Cheese (grated)
  • 1 tbsp of Chilli Powder (may vary according to your taste buds)
  • 1 tbsp of Salt 
  • 1/2 Cup of Lime Juice
  • 1 Small Bowl of Vegetable Oil

  1. Preheat your grill for 10 minutes.
  2. After 10 minutes, brush it with vegetable oil.
  3. In the meantime, take a bowl and add sour cream, butter, chilli powder, salt, and whisk it until it forms a smooth mixture.
  4. After the preheating of the grill is done, put the corn ears for grilling. Brush the corns with vegetable oil prior. 
  5. Grill corn until it gets brown.
  6. Take it out and brush it with the smooth mixture prepared before.
  7. Serve it after sprinkling the lime juice over it and the grated Parmesan cheese. 

Heavenly Pork Chops

Pork Chops are always a heavenly dish one can have for dinner. A perfect appetizer, or a munchie with your wine, as you desire.

Serves: 2-3


  • 6 Pork Chops
  • 1 Cup of Salt
  • 1/2 Cup of Soy Sauce
  • 2 Cups of Water (at room temperature)
  • 2 Cups of Ice Cubes
  • 1 cup of Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup of Vegetable Oil
  • 2 tbsp of Garlic Paste
  • 2 tbsp of Onion Paste
  • 1 tbsp of Black Pepper


  1. Take a saucepan and add water (at room temperature), soy sauce, salt, brown sugar, garlic paste, onion paste, and black pepper. 
  2. Cook and mix until the salt and brown sugar completely dissolve.
  3. Bring the mix down to normal temperature and pour it in a bowl and add the ice cubes to it.
  4. Dip the pork chops and seal the bowl using a plastic cover (it should be airtight).
  5. Refrigerate the bowl for a day.
  6. Preheat your grill for 10 minutes and brush it vegetable oil after that.
  7. Take out the bowl containing pork chops and bring it to normal temperature.
  8. Grill the pork chops on both sides until the brown colour deepens.
  9. Serve it with some mayonnaise if you want (optional).

Creamy Grilled Chicken

Chicken is everyone’s favourite and grilled ones are the best that anyone wishes to have. Who doesn’t like the soft and juicy flesh dipped in cream? Mouthwatering, isn’t it? One of the tastiest grill recipes is here on your command.

Serves: 3-4


  • 4 Cups of Fresh Cream
  • 1 Cup of Buttermilk
  • 4 Chicken Pieces (breasts, or thighs, and it should be boneless)
  • 1/2 Cup of Lemon Juice
  • 2 tbsp of Garlic Paste
  • 2 tbsp of Salt
  • 2 tbsp of Red Chilli Flakes
  • 2 tbsp of Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/2 Cup of Vegetable Oil


  1. Take a bowl and fresh cream, buttermilk, lemon juice, garlic paste, salt, chili flakes, and ground black pepper and whisk it until it becomes smooth.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to it covering it with the complete mixture.
  3. Put the bowl in the refrigerator for a day and seal it with plastic. and keep it for at least 5 hours.
  4. Preheat your grill for 10 minutes.
  5. Bring the chicken pieces out of the refrigerator and bring it to room temperature.
  6. Now grill it for 20 minutes on both sides and serve.

  1. All three recipes sound delicious! It is indeed grilling season, and nothing beats food over fire with a glass of rosé to hand. You mention that the corn recipe would be great for vegans….but you’d have to do without the sour cream, butter and parmesan. It’s vegetarian as is. But I love the concept – now if I can only find decent sweet corn here in France…

    • Ah – good catch. I missed that. I usually grow my own sweet corn (as you are right, no decent sweet corn here in France) but this year the seeds I ordered got lost during lockdown. Sigh – no corn this year.
