One could call this a ‘hash’ but in a traditional hash the ingredients are cut smaller.
We like chunky.
If I could get corned beef this would be a great Patrick’s Day dish, with an egg on top, but, alas, the closest I can find to corned beef is canned Spam.
I actually like Spam, but not at the prices charged here. It’s Spam, not caviar.
Regardless of your preferred protein, this is an easy dinner for two.

Here is a Chicken, Cabbage & Rice Skillet
Way back in the beginning of time, when I first started working with computers, a very wise tech-person explained to me how they work.
It’s the FM.
For those who don’t understand that, it’s the F*=*ing Magic.
Yesterday, when I got back from my walk and sat down to do this post, nothing was working right.
Somethings didn’t work at all; others were just… weird.
I spent the next several hours googling fixes and problems and more fixes.
Nothing worked. For the curious: I deleted, uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted, etc. etc. etc.
Finally, I went on forums and posted my questions hoping someone could help. There had been an operating system update the night before and I was thinking something got screwed up in the process.
This morning I looked to see if anyone had responded.
No one had.
I clicked on one of the problems just to torment myself further.
The problem had fixed itself.
Further testing was done.
Everything was working.
The FM was back!
I told you that’s what makes them work!
Thank goodness for FM ! I rely on it regularly !!
It’s often our only hope.
This looks yummy! And by a happy coincidence, I always have Spam on hand. I love the stuff. I don’t eat it often and usually only use it in stir fry because it’s so salty, but I do love it.
I run into that FM a lot. It can get pretty annoying.
I miss the days when computers weren’t ‘user friendly’. I also miss Spam lol
