Korean Cr. Cheese Garlic Buns – Go Babes!

Korean Cream Cheese Garlic Buns, aka: Six-Sided Cream Garlic Buns.

These are sweet, soft garlic buns – nothing at all like the Garlic Bread so loved (by some) in the West.

They started out as street food but have grown in popularity (I can understand why).

The buns are baked, then sliced into 6 wedges which are filled with the cream cheese / garlic mixture, then baked again until slightly crunchy.

Sound good?

    Here’s the question I didn’t think to ask out loud: why does the garlic in the garlic butter turn chartreuse green? It’s pretty, but it’s also just a little alarming.

    Don’t all those cream cheese garlic buns look beautiful?! Thank you again for showing them all together.
