Can one turn orange from eating winter squash?
I’ve heard that one can turn orange from eating carrots….
Orange is not a good color for me.
When we lived in the US we used to buy whole turkey tenderloins, which we either roasted whole or cut up for stir-fries.
Here we buy turkey cutlets which are quite large, thin slices … Continue reading.....
I still have 1 pumpkin, 4 spaghetti squash and 5 butternut squash left.
We’ve been eating one of the three almost every night since October.
I’ve given away 4 pumpkins and 3 spaghetti squash.

I have absolutely no idea how I got there…. I started using Evernote a few years ago to keep track of stuff.
I’m not very good at using it – sporadic updates, saves, etc., but I do open it occasionally when I need recipe inspiration to … Continue reading.....
I’m calling this Pumpkin Gratin because, this time of year, any post with the word ‘pumpkin’ in it gets a lot of notice.

That’s not something readily available here as pumpkins have only recently been upgraded from pig food to people food.
Yes, I know … Continue reading.....
