Everything that happens, chez nous, seems to happen in installments. Nothing can ever be straightforward and simple. After my proud, and somewhat smug, announcement of getting our boiler / furnace working, it promptly stopped. We have heat in our house. Oh, happy day! We've had our wood stove, which does a wonderful job of heating the kitchen, since last winter. There was a boiler in the house when we bought it, but we assumed it was old and decrepit. We were wrong.
