One more green salad for summer.
The lettuce isn’t looking quite as fresh in the markets these days and I think it’s time to switch to pasta salads.

Salad season has started.
I planted 24 lettuce sets earlier this spring to give us a head start while waiting for the lettuce seeds to grow.
All but 4 died / were killed immediately. The same thing happened last year, so I wasn’t surprised, but they are so cheap I just can’t resist.

When we lived in the US I could get ground turkey and whole turkey tenderloins.
I can’t get either here…..
But I can get these wonderful, thin turkey cutlets. They cook in minutes on the grill and are great for making ‘birds’ or rolls, wrapped around Prosciutto or asparagus or just about anything you like.
