Can you see why it wasn’t my favorite task? The wall over the stairs? And I was just the helper.
It was a relief to get it done.
Once the floor is done I can finally (I hope) get rid of the sheet rock dust.

Why are tiles so complicated?
Nothing else we have to buy for this house renovation is so fraught with difficulty as tiles.
Oh, sure, we've argued about paint color and have had heated discussions about toilets (in the store, naturally).
