The acorn squash are coming to an end and I’m starting to get creative with the last few.

This as much a guide / idea as an actual recipe. Little puff pastry tarts can be topped with anything and make a great first course.

Thyme for Cooking, Blog Posted on December 5, 2012 by Katie ZellerAugust 10, 2013

I had an extra leek in the house (didn’t need it for the lasagne) and I had one, last, small acorn squash left.

A little tart seemed like just the thing.

You do remember I’m rather fond of Small Plates.…

Thyme for Cooking, Blog Posted on October 31, 2012 by Katie ZellerOctober 4, 2017

Warning: serious and / or thought-provoking post to follow.  Read at your own risk.

But first…..

A few weeks ago I saw a great recipe, somewhere, on a blog, that I, of course, bookmarked….

Or so I thought.

It was strudel-like, made with acorn squash, … Continue reading.....

According to him, if he needs a specific part to finish the job he never has that exact … Continue reading.....

Chevre, Pesto and Honey Tart

Thyme for Cooking, Blog Posted on June 22, 2011 by Katie ZellerOctober 1, 2017

This is not going to turn into a puppy blog.

I promise.

After this I will restrain myself to the occasional puppy-update… Say. once a month (or so).

But I couldn't resist this shot.

Guapa – sleeping with total puppy abandon.

She didn't even move … Continue reading.....
