The sun came out; it quit raining; the ground is warming.
We had our first salad from the garden.
The windows and doors are open – so the dogs can go in and out at will.
And do… in, out, in, out, all day long.
Sedi, the old girl, loves it. Naps in the hot sun, barks at … Continue reading.....
The bunnies are back.
Apparently they were just humoring me for awhile.
It reminds me of a story my best friend from college used to tell. She lived in Chicago – the city, not the suburbs.
It seems that one of the neighborhood lads bought a new car…. a Corvette.
It was risky having that type of car in that … Continue reading.....
Do you eat asparagus with your fingers?
Or with a knife and fork?
One properly eats it with one's fingers, according to the etiquette guidelines.

My friend Ruth, of Once Upon A Feast, somehow knew that I was having a bad week.
She decided to cheer me up.
She could have sent me a new cooktop but, instead, based on the ‘teach a person to fish’ methodology, she gave me an Award…..
An Award that says I have to think of 10 things that … Continue reading.....
